Troubleshooting the Google-Canvas Connection

Resetting the connection between Canvas and Google

Usually, issues can be resolved by asking students to log out of everything on their device and re-logging into only their account. Sometimes, however, persistent error messages occur. In this RARE instance, the following steps may prove helpful.

From time to time, students may have an issue with their Google Drive communicating with Canvas, causing errors when submitting Google assignments in Canvas.

The following steps outline a process to remove, then reinstate the Google Drive authorization in Canvas.

Canvas/Google Drive LTI (remove & reconnect)
